There is a place for EVERYONE in the music ministry at the Village Church!  Members and non-members alike have a chance to share their talents with other like-minded people in a friendly atmosphere.  Below is a list of groups for you to choose from:

ADULT CHOIR

Rehearsals – 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays

Our Adult Choir performs both contemporary and traditional Christian music.  We sing for Worship Services on Sundays about once per month. We also present seasonal musicals, such as Carols By Candlelight and other special presentations. They include acting, costumes, scenery , and wonderful music.

INSTRUMENTALS

The Village Instrumental Ensemble is a new addition to The Village Church music program.  The group includes trumpet, french horn, clarinet, and saxophone. They play on every Sunday of each month and also on special occasions during the year.  Rehearsals are held every Wednesday night in the sanctuary.  We would invite anyone with a talent in orchestra instruments to join us.

Our church is very involved in the Arts.  We have held Children’s Theater Camps in the past and are now involved in adult theater, producing such plays as, The Odd Couple, Driving Miss Daisy, The Business of Murder, and other murder mysteries and comedies.  We perform about 3 plays a year and involve not only members of our church, but actors and actresses from all over St. Tammany.
